Automatic Press Feeder

Bolt-on hopper feeder with adjustable feed rate for screw and hydraulic presses.

Not a machine but a bolt-on: an automatic hopper feeder with adjustable feed rate, fitted to a press so nobody has to stand over the hopper. Uneven hand feeding is the most common cause of inconsistent yield on any screw press, and this is the cheapest fix for it.

The workshop is explicit that the price is for the feeder alone. It weighs about 8 kg, sits on top of a bench or vertical press or a paste mill, and its stated job is even, adjustable feed that does not jam the machine it sits on.

Figures above are the partner workshop’s own published values, converted to metric units. This machine is built in a partner workshop rather than on our own line, so we confirm every figure in writing on quotation for the exact frame you order.

The feeder itself

What you actually receive, and how it looks in service

The feeder as a standalone module, bolted onto a press, its speed control at close range, and a customer shop running it into a nut-butter mill.

Watch it run

The feeder metering peanuts, 15 seconds

Shot in the partner workshop. The hopper is loaded with roasted peanuts, the trough meters them into the pot below at a steady rate, and the dial on the control box is turned mid-run to show the feed rate changing. This is the whole point of the machine: the same amount of material arriving every second, without anyone standing over it.

Footage is of a production unit in the partner workshop, not a studio mock-up. Silent clip.

Before you order

What to check on this machine

Three things worth settling on this particular model before money changes hands. They are the points that most often turn into a complaint after delivery.

  • Mounting compatibility with the specific press you own.
  • Feed-rate range against your press’s actual intake.
  • Whether it handles your seed size without bridging in the hopper.

Tell us what you press, and we will confirm the specification

Send the seed type, how much you press per day, your local voltage and plug type, the destination country, and whether you need cold pressing, hot pressing or both. We will come back with the confirmed figures for this machine and say plainly if a different one suits you better.
