Hand-pumped hydraulic pressing, chosen specifically to keep the oil cold. Peanut, camellia, flaxseed and walnut all lose their character with heat, and a manual pump generates none — there is no motor, no barrel and nothing to warm the oil.
The workshop rates this frame at 80 tons on a hand pump and quotes a 2 kg charge taking about 30 minutes — the time difference against the powered version is the pumping.
