What to confirm before using it on fry oil
Recovering fry oil is a dirtier, hotter, wetter job than polishing pressed oil, and not every filter survives it. The three checks below decide whether this unit does, and they are what after-delivery arguments are usually made of by kitchen buyers.
- Whether it tolerates hot oil, and the maximum inlet temperature.
- Water handling, since recovered fry oil usually carries some.
- Pump duty if it will run several times a day.
