Small screw press range — model LYF-899
5-7 kg/h Oil Press Machine 720 W
The LYF-899 is a bench-top screw (expeller) oil press for home kitchens, farm households, oil retail counters and small food workshops. It runs on a single-phase supply (220 / 110 V), stands on a normal work bench, and is rated at 5-7 kg/h. Every figure on this page is taken from the current supplier listing.
Technical specification
Listed LYF-899 data
These values come from the supplier listing for this model. Capacity figures assume clean, correctly dried seed; confirm the electrical supply and bench space before ordering.
| Item | Listed value | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Model | LYF-899 | Quote this designation so the correct unit is shipped. |
| Rated throughput | 5-7 kg/h | Listed input rate. Actual output depends on seed, moisture and oil content. |
| Total power | 720 W | Size the socket and local circuit to this figure. |
| Motor power | 370 W | The remainder of total power is the heating element. |
| Voltage | 220 / 110 V | Confirm the plug type and frequency for your country before ordering. |
| Machine size (L × W × H) | 46 × 18 × 31 cm | Check bench depth and clearance above the hopper. |
| Net weight | 14 kg | One person can normally reposition the smaller units. |
| Contact material | Stainless steel SUS 304 | Food-contact parts. Ask for the material certificate if required locally. |
| Certification | CE / CCC | Confirm which certificate documents can be supplied with the shipment. |
| Automation | Automatic | Determines how much manual attention the press needs per batch. |
| Warranty | 1 year | Confirm what the warranty covers and how spares are sent. |
| Minimum order | 1 set | Single units are accepted; ask about rates for larger quantities. |

How the LYF-899 is built
The body, hopper and pressing chamber are the parts that decide cleaning time and service life, so they are worth looking at closely before choosing a model.

Operation
How a batch runs on the LYF-899
Dry and clean the seed
Remove stones, husk and metal, then bring the seed to the moisture level the material needs. Wet seed is the most common cause of poor yield and a blocked chamber.
Pre-heat the chamber
Let the barrel reach working temperature before feeding. Pressing into a cold chamber pushes seed through without releasing much oil.
Feed slowly and evenly
Feed at a steady rate rather than filling the hopper and walking away. The screw needs a constant load to build pressure.
Settle and filter the oil
Fresh screw-pressed oil carries fine solids. Let it stand, then decant or filter before bottling.
Clear the chamber before shutdown
Run a little dry seed through at the end of the batch so residue does not harden inside the screw and barrel.
Materials
Oilseeds this size of press is used for
- Commonly listed materials: peanut, sesame, rapeseed, soybean, sunflower seed, walnut, almond, coconut / copra, olive, flaxseed, camellia (tea seed), cocoa bean and palm kernel.
- High-oil seeds such as sesame, peanut and sunflower run most easily on a machine of this size.
- Hard or fibrous materials — palm kernel, copra, cocoa — need correct drying and a slower feed rate.
- Low-oil materials give a low yield on any small screw press, whatever the machine.
Screw presses of this class are sized for household and counter-top production. For continuous commercial tonnage, a hydraulic press or a full production line is the correct route.
