The price of a hydraulic oil press is set mainly by the press force, and press force comes from the cylinder diameter and frame strength. The barrel size is the same across most of the range. This page explains what you pay for at each level and what else belongs in the budget.

What changes the price
- Cylinder and frame. A larger cylinder at the same 60 MPa system pressure gives more press force and needs a heavier frame. Our cylinders are 27SiMn steel.
- Barrel material. The standard barrel is carbon steel, nickel-plated outside. A 304 stainless option (press head, oil tray, separator plates and barrel) roughly doubles the press price.
- Barrels. A dual-barrel version loads one barrel while the other presses.
- Heating is not part of the press. For hot pressing, the seed is heated in a separate roaster or steamer, which is priced separately.
Same barrel, different press force
Most models use the same 390 mm barrel, so a bigger model does not hold much more seed per load. It presses the cake harder. That matters for cold pressing, where there is no heat to help release the oil, and much less for roasted seed. Paying for a 500-series press to hot-press peanuts buys pressure you will not use.
Budget beyond the machine
- Freight and import duty to your country
- Seed preparation: pre-press machine, roaster or steamer, crusher
- Filter, storage tanks and filling equipment if you sell bottled oil
- Spare parts and the first fill of hydraulic oil (about 75 kg of 46# anti-wear oil)
- A reserve of 10–15% for installation and anything you missed

Why do models with the same barrel cost different amounts?
Because the difference is in the cylinder and frame, which set the press force, not in how much seed the barrel holds.
Which model do most buyers choose?
The 325, for hot pressing. Cold-press buyers usually start at the 355.
Is the roaster included in the press price?
No. The press has no heater. Roasters and steamers are separate machines with their own price.
