355 / 400 / 426 / 480 / 500 cold-press family
Hydraulic cold presses from 370 to 630 tons
Five machine models pair source-listed down pressure of 370, 410, 500, 600, or 630 tons with a 60 MPa hydraulic system. Choose between a 390 mm barrel with a 5-100 kg press-volume range and a narrower 300 mm barrel with a 5-60 kg range and higher listed cake surface pressure.

Oilseed suitability
Match the machine to the material and preparation route
The source page lists walnut, sea buckthorn oil, perilla seed, coconut oil, tea seed, hemp seed, flaxseed, almond, pine nut, and pumpkin seed for this cold-press family. Its barrel-capacity reference is based on oilseed in crushed powder form, so whole-material feeding should not be assumed.
- Confirm whether cleaning, shell removal, crushing, or another preparation step is required.
- Provide the incoming moisture, particle size, shell condition, and oil content when known.
- State the maximum allowable material and oil temperature; the source page does not publish a cold-press temperature limit.
- Use a material test when oil recovery, oil quality, cake condition, or filtration behavior is commercially important.
Keep non-food projects separate
The source also lists chemical waste clay and activated carbon decolorizer. These are not edible-oil applications. Identify the material composition, contamination controls, required discharge condition, and cleaning protocol before discussing machine suitability.
Cold-press process
Prepare the feed, press the batch, and clarify the oil
The press sits between raw-material preparation and oil finishing. Define each stage around the actual oilseed instead of treating the model number as a complete production line.
Operating references
Use the published cycle figures for initial planning only
These figures are reproduced from the live product page. They are reference data, not guaranteed output for every oilseed, preparation method, or operating condition.
Source-listed barrel timing
- Up to 100 kg in one barrel for oilseed in crushed powder form
- 2 hours for one barrel, excluding feeding and cake unloading
- 4.5 hours for two barrels, including feeding and cake unloading
The separate 300 mm barrel table limits its press-volume range to 5-60 kg.
Source-listed extraction reference
The page states approximately 5% residual oil in the cake and 95% oil-output efficiency for most of the listed materials.
Reference claim, not a guarantee: verify the result with the actual material because variety, oil content, shell, moisture, particle size, loading, cycle settings, and filtration can change the outcome.
Selection logic
Choose the barrel first, then choose the press force
The two barrel configurations change batch range and listed cake surface pressure. Moving up the model family changes down pressure, listed cake surface pressure, machine weight, and in one case height; the source does not show a faster cycle or a larger barrel range for the higher models.
390 mm barrel
Start here when the project needs the source-listed 5-100 kg press-volume range. Across Models 355 to 500, listed cake surface pressure rises from 31 to 53 MPa/cm2.
- 390 mm internal diameter reference
- 800 mm barrel height
- Same listed 60 MPa system pressure across all five models
300 mm barrel
Use this as the comparison route when the project can work within the source-listed 5-60 kg range and requires the higher listed cake surface pressure. Across Models 355 to 500, the table rises from 52 to 89 MPa/cm2.
- 300 mm internal diameter reference
- 800 mm barrel height
- Approximately 0.1 ton less listed machine weight than the 390 mm version of each model
Do not select by tonnage alone
Send the material sample or specification, required batch range, cake target, operating schedule, and site constraints. Confirm the barrel drawing and cake-pressure calculation basis in the technical quotation before final model selection.

300 mm barrel configuration: 5-60 kg press volume
This alternate comparison keeps the same model down pressure, 60 MPa system pressure, and 800 mm barrel height while using a narrower barrel.

Source-unit note
The source table labels cake surface pressure as MPa/cm2. Its introductory sentence before the 300 mm table says 89 Pa/cm2, while the table itself says 89 MPa/cm2 for Model 500. This page preserves the tabulated unit; confirm the engineering unit and calculation basis before comparing another press design.
Core press assembly
Use the source descriptions as a technical confirmation list
These items describe the current product page, not a final packing list. Confirm model-specific drawings, electrical configuration, supplied accessories, spares, and documentation in the quotation.
Hydraulic station
High-low dual-pump system
The source describes an 80 MPa working-pump capability, 60 MPa continuous system operation, high- and low-pressure relief valves, dual high-pressure safety valves, and an ultra-high-pressure four-core directional valve.
Pressing barrel
Trapezoidal key-bar structure
The page identifies evenly arranged welded key bars, a forged reinforcing flange, and Q690 high-strength alloy steel. Request the selected barrel diameter and cleaning procedure in the technical scope.
Motor and control
2.2 kW drive with microcomputer control
The listed control arrangement includes dual pressure gauges, dual high-pressure control, and dual high-pressure electrical safety devices. Confirm voltage, frequency, phase, control language, and component list.
Cylinder and frame
Alloy cylinder in an integrated steel frame
The source specifies 27-silicon-manganese alloy cylinder tubing, GL and Y-type seal elements, front and rear guide bands, and an integrated molded-steel frame for the cold-press family.
Supporting equipment
Build the preparation and oil-finishing stages around the press
Equipment before and after the press depends on the raw material and required finished-oil stage. The cold-press machine page specifically connects filtered oil to semi-automatic or automatic filling systems.
Site planning
Check access, floor, and service space
The source lists approximately 2600-2700 mm machine height and approximately 1.8-3.3 tons with the control box, depending on model and barrel. Plan around the selected row rather than the family maximum alone.
- Door, container, lifting, and internal handling clearances
- Ceiling height and maintenance access above the cylinder
- Floor loading, level, anchoring, and oil-containment plan
- Operator access for barrel filling and cake unloading
- Crude-oil collection, filtration, clean storage, and transfer route
Maintenance scope
Confirm service items before shipment
The source identifies the seal arrangement and major hydraulic components but does not publish maintenance intervals, hydraulic-fluid grade, or a standard spare-parts quantity.
- Request seal, guide-band, pressure-gauge, and valve part numbers.
- Confirm which spare seal kits and filter items are included or optional.
- Request the approved hydraulic-fluid grade and change schedule.
- Confirm barrel-channel cleaning and inspection procedures.
- Ask for operating, electrical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting documents.
Buyer checklist
Send enough detail for a usable technical quotation
A model number alone does not define the barrel, feed preparation, operating result, electrical package, supporting equipment, or site scope.
